Blackfriday has come and gone but the christmas shopping craze just starting out for many consumers, retailers and credit card companies. This year like previous other year many retailers are using Facebook and Social media to offer promos to attract consumers to their door steps or online shops. Many credit card companies including AMEX are starting out promos to encourge the use of their credit cards. Here are few of the promos which I came across through my other blogger(mymoneyblog.com).

AMEX GIFT CHAIN
Amex started this season like last year by offering $25 credit for Thanksgiving shoppers on local business on Nov 25,2011. They are now continuing with another creative promotion called the Gift Chain. If you have any Amex credit card, register them first in this promotion and link to facebook account. Then every time you spend $25 or more at a participating online store between November 28 and December 21, 2011, you’ll be eligible for a surprise gift worth between $2 and $500 each time (up to 10 gifts max). TARGET $10 Gift card for $50 Purchase
It is offering a printable coupon for a free $10 Target Gift card with $50 Target purchase in their Facebook page. I usually don’t shop in Target but $10 for $50 which 20% saving, a bad deal for regular shoppers.
